Here’s a little bit of information about me, Kelly, the author and keeper of this site.
Who am I?:
My name is Kelly and I am trying to figure out who I am. I am at a weird transition point in my life. I have spent the last five years working in technology and with computers. I have recently rediscovered that my passion is for being a worship leader. There is nothing I love more than hearing God’s people sing in worship to Him.
As such, I am currently a full time student at Multnomah University working towards a double major degree in Bible/Theology and Music Ministry. While God has given me a great passion for it, I am at the beginning for leading worship. I need to tools and skills to become better at what God has called me to do. Going back to school is the next logical step.
What is this site about?:
This is mainly for me, so I can get myself writing on a consistent and regular basis. The ultimate goal being that I’ll be able to start writing songs. I’ve always wanted to try but never been very successful at it. I’m hoping by maintaining a blog of some variety, it will help to sharpen my creative writing skills.
Most of the posts will be the random thoughts I have a long the journey. As I get a bigger portfolio of writing, I’ll start posting some of it here for the world to see.
