Something I’ve learned about myself is that I get inspired by music and the message in music. To help you, the readers, better understand who I am, I’m putting a page together of music that I enjoy/inspires me. I would love to have half the talent of some of these musicians. Dave Matthews Band
This is by far my all-time favorite band. I have chosen the two clips below because they’re actually from the same song. DMB is famous for their long jam sessions in the middle of their songs. The thing I really like about DMB is you can tell that they enjoy playing their music together. Also, they play off of each other extremely well and improvise together very well. I hope and pray that I someday have band mates that I am as tight w/ musically as these guys are.

Jeremy was one of the first Christian artists I really sat and listened to. He has some amazing things to say. He has an incredible testimony. I really enjoy it anytime I hear his music.

MercyMe
I can’t say how often the music and ministry of MercyMe has inspired me. Having seen them several times in concert and followed the band for a long time, I am continually blown away by them. They, like Dave Matthews Band, play very well together. They are all incredible musicians, but moreso, they’re amazing men of God. That continually inspires me every single day. While not exactly inspirational, this clip from MercyMe shows the joy that can be found in music. Enjoy!
